Customer Order Management - Project Manager

A global organisation and world leading provider of innovative technologies to the automotive and commercial vehicle market are looking for a Procurement Planning - Project Planner to join their team in Warwick. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a global organisation during a time of considerable change and expansion.

Key responsibilities for the role:

  • SME (subject matter expertise) for business processes and system developments related to “Procure-to-Pay” business area
  • SAP MM / PP (Materials management / production planning) expertise – develop / implement / end-user training for systems enhancements, including configuration set-up and operational stability
  • Maintain specific “procure-to-pay” process documentation, ensure distribution to business – including updating for future process / system testing
  • Project Management capabilities to oversee development initiatives within “procure-to-pay” space within wider SC Excellence / business initiatives - to ensure quality, cost and on-time objectives
  • Work with all operational (Materials Management, Customer Services, Business Development, Warehouse Management, Marketing, Finance) to improve, standardise, document transactional processes
  • Lead on ERP developments (“procure-to-pay”), co-ordinate with IT and ensure full end-to-end testing and staff training matrix

Candidate requirements:

  • Educated Degree or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Minimum of 5 year in business process (with ERP system) re-engineering
  • Highly numerate and computer literate (MSOffice including Access). SAP in-depth knowledge would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead and collaborate with other functions & territories
  • Self-starter with strong logic, problem-solving, organisational skills and drive
  • Project management experience in process/systems development is a plus
