Customer Insight Sales Admin required for temporary to permanent job in Sheffield - Immediate start £18,000

Your new company
Working for a leading manufacturing company in Sheffield you will be part of a Customer Service Department.
You will report to the Head of Customer Service and the main purpose of the role will be to provide invaluable customer insight and sales support to an warm and cold client base.

Your new role
This is a newly created role and will quickly become temporary to permanent for the successful candidate subject to performance. The new creation of this role will hopefully lead to significant improvement to customer sales, delivery,performance and customer insight.

This position will initially start on a temporary basis and successful applicants must be available to start with immediate effect . Our client unfortunately cannot wait for anyone to start after serving a notice period.

This is an exciting role and the successful applicant will have a keen eye for business development , be commercially minded with a proactive nature. You will ideally have some recent business development or sales experience. Duties of the role will include;

-Working with the Customer Insight Manager and the Head of Customer Service to improve sales
-Identifying customer sales and business development targets
-Responsible for making sales / business development calls to hot and cold business targets and customers
-Identifying competitor users
-Conducting Commercial research , data analysis and sales reporting to management
-Gaining invaluable customer insight from contact calls and meetings
-Producing customer quotes and obtaining sales

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong eye for detail and be an excellent listener. You will be able to identify sale opportunities and you must be self motivated. You will be able to set and deliver to your own sales targets and form long term, successful relationships with your customers.
Previous sales experience would be ideal
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
