Customer Engagement / Telemarketing Executive - IFS Portsmouth

This is a full time position, working Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm.

The Role

Reporting to the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for results focused telemarketing of our corporate and public sector database - generating quality sales leads or appointments for our new business team.

Leads and appointments made will increase the IFS new business prospect pipeline and ultimately will help IFS achieve significant new business growth and become a true partner in Fleet strategy to our new customers.

Role Requirements

· Achieve set targets and objectives in line with the annual pay plan

· Qualify a targeted list of prospective customers

· Identify key influencers and decision makers within the prospective organisations

· Establish and accurately record key fleet data in Salesforce/CRM

· Build close relationships and nurture interest to a stage where a prospective organisation is open to a sales appointment

· Work closely with internal stakeholders on the generation of new prospect campaigns in order to make confident

· Support the Business Development team in new business opportunities where appropriate

· Act as the Voice of the customer within IFS to ensure that prospect requirements and feedback is represented and actioned appropriately through business improvement projects and initiatives

· Track the ROI and 'prospect journey’ of generated leads and appointments. Prepare and present performance statistics

· Understand the IFS product portfolio and where it fits with the wider industry and keep up to date with general industry news

· Attend sales meetings and other internal related meetings when required to do so

· Reinforce the culture and values of IFS through appropriate behaviours and actions

Your Responsibilities

· Deliver quality sales leads and appointments to the new business team

· Deliver appropriate activity to achieve all targets

· Deliver clear, concise reporting of performance

· Deliver enrichment of prospect fleet data

Core Skills

· Professional and articulate with a high standard of spoken English

· Computer Literate - Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Experience of telephone based service delivery

· Strong communicating and influencing skills

· Strategic thinking linked to customer needs

· Motivation for achieving results

· Ability to rapidly develop good working relationships with individuals within our prospect base and at all levels of their organisation

· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

· Ability to handle rejection

· Salesforce knowledge an advantage

· Proven track record of successful business-to-business appointment generation in a high value service or sales environment

· Knowledge of the fleet Industry and all associated products and services would be an advantage

· Knowledge and understanding of the principals of vehicle funding and management would be an advantage
