What you’ll bring

You don’t need to have telephone customer service experience, but experience of helping people through difficult times could be a bonus. That could be face-to-face or over the telephone. An eye for detail, the ability to listen carefully and most importantly building rapport will help you succeed. We want people on our calls, not robots, so be free to show empathy and tailor your approach to that customer’s needs.

What you’ll do

Dealing with inbound and outbound calls, you’ll work with our customers who are in early arrears. Helping bring their accounts back into good health. Making sure the repayments are affordable and sustainable. You’ll look at the customer’s income and expenditure and have the flexibility to negotiate affordable plans. You won’t be asked to read from a script and you won’t have someone looking over your shoulder after being on a call for 30 minutes.

We’re the only UK Credit Management and Collections Company owned by a bank. We are a contact centre with a difference, based in Rotherham Town Centre. We have good public transport links and we’re within walking distance from the Train Station. Since we were acquired by Secure Trust Bank six years ago, we have made significant investments into our people, facilities and technology. This has enabled us to achieve customer satisfaction scores of 4.8/5 from end users.

Other info

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 7pm on a Friday. You would also be required to work from 9am to 1pm for one in four Saturdays. Part time shifts are available if they fit around customer demand.
