REED Business Support is working together with a very well established Taunton based company, to recruit a Full time Customer service adviser on a temporary basis.
To provide a professional Business Support services complying with specialist / statutory frameworks. Provides advice, guidance and appropriate support to clients, managers and professionals.

Main Purpose of the Job:
•The post holder will act as front line face-to-face reception and telephone enquiry person.
•This post holder will be part of a rota system to ensure face to face and telephone coverage.
•The post holder will liaise with the relevant sections to ensure that all public enquiries are promptly and appropriately dealt with

Key Responsibilities:

1.To provide responsive and professional service to telephone callers to the client's  main telephone number using CRM system and other applications.
2.Interviewing members of public in relation to front line queries as necessary.
3.To liaise with service area to understand service and provide ‘in depth’ service to customer.
4.Monitoring of Customer Services inbox; imperative that staff check daily in order to be up-to-date regarding all requests for information.
5. Revenues queries dealt with at first point of contact. Taking moves, change in circumstances and single occupancy details and referring to Revenues and Benefits Staff.
6.Scanning of all documents for Revenues, Benefits and Housing handed into Reception.
7.Taking credit/debit card payments via telephone or face to face. Issuing official receipts.
8.Running periodic reports as required.
9.Updating leaflet displays to ensure only currently information on display and stock control. Updating noticeboards as required.
10.Handling all Waste related calls including missed collections, garden waste bins, clinical waste, bulky waste etc. Taking payments for garden waste. Updating Wisper system.
11.Logging of Freedom of Information requests and complaints.
12.To ensure compliance with the client's policies on Customer Care, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts.
13.To perform such other duties as may be required by Customer Services Team Leader or Line Manager.
14.In consultation with you, it is liable to variation by Management to reflect or anticipate changes in or to the job.
