Rate of pay: £8.75

Working hours: Mon - Fri 35 hours (9-5)

Contract: TEMP

Location: Portman house, Bournemouth

Overview:

The Intermediary Liaison Team are responsible for preparing mortgage applications for underwriters. This may involve chasing brokers for outstanding information to ensure the applications basic requirements are sufficiently met for an underwriter to make an informed lending decision. This role includes basic administration tasks that need good attention to detail and accuracy such as data input, taking payments for mortgage applications, moving correspondence received to the correct underwriting team for assessment and chasing outstanding information needed to support a mortgage application from brokers. Although predominately admin based, this role does also involve an element of telephone based work and therefore successful candidates will be confident and clear communicators with a customer service focus.

Experience: Customer Service experience essential, administration/telephony experience desirable.

The Mortgage Works are the specialist lending arm of Nationwide, they are responsible for speaking to brokers and customers regarding new mortgage applications and this is crucial to the overall process for gaining new business.
