We're delighted to be taking part in the Kickstart Programme. Kickstart is a Government lead programme launched in response to the impact of Covid-19. Kickstart placements offer great work experience and could be the pathway to an exciting new career!

Sovereign is a not for profit organisation that's driven to make a difference.

It's an exciting time to join as we're an IIP gold award organisation and you'll have the opportunity of 6 months of support and to gain a Kickstart CPD certificate.

The role

Digital engagement has now, more than ever, become increasingly important in community development. This role will help support Communities to develop digital ways of working and engaging customers and stakeholders.

This role will:

  • Support Communities by researching new ways of engaging customers in community development online.
  • Work with our corporate communications team to raise the profile and awareness of the work Communities do, for example by writing case studies.
  • Support our Digital and Monitoring Lead through research to develop a digital platform for customer and community engagement.
  • Support our Digital and Monitoring Lead to develop digital ways for Communities to report monthly key performance indicators.

Full training will be given, so don't worry if you've never carried out these tasks before. You'll have support from your line manager and buddy

Please note, this role may be home based to begin with, but equipment (including a laptop) will be provided and your manager will be in touch regularly.
