Customer Account Manager

My client is a growing, professional business based in Newcastle upon Tyne who are now looking for a Customer Account Manager to join their expanding team. This will be an initial 12-month fixed term contract to be based out of their office in Newcastle City Centre.

Role responsibilities:

  • Working with business customer to ensure they are getting the most out of my clients CRM and online system
  • This will involve training customer via the telephone and online demonstrations on how to utilise the CRM and enhance their experience by benefiting from all the features available to them
  • Provide on-going support to any customer queries that may arise
  • Become a dedicated point of contact to customers, helping them with proof reading and posting online
  • Building and maintaining relationships will be a key aspect within this role. You must be able to adapt to speaking with a variety of business owners using effective mirroring techniques
  • You will have to be able to manage your own time, and prioritise your workload accordingly in arranging training and support
  • Working as part of a team and helping with other ad hoc tasks where necessary

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience within a customer service role is essential
  • Strong telephone manner with the ability to engage and build rapport effortlessly
  • A self-starter attitude to tasks and work in general, and a confident outgoing persona
  • Ability to organise your work load and prioritise tasks with minimal supervision
  • Must be computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. If you have utilised other CRM software in the past, then this would also be beneficial
  • Strong English reading and writing skills. Must know the difference between Your and You’re for instance!

For the right candidate my client is offering a fantastic package:

  • Competitive base salary up to £20,000 depending on experience
  • Office working hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 5:30pm
  • Initial 12-month fixed term contract however due to forecasted business growth there is every possibility for the role to be made permanent thereafter
