REED Education are currently recruiting a Learning and Curriculum Lead for our client based in the Caerphilly area.

Our client are an alternative education provider delivering programmes to young people aged 4 to 18 years of age in order for them to progress and succeed in sustained education or employment. This is achieved through high quality teaching and learning, based on effective relationships that enable the achievement of life skills and meaningful qualifications.

As the Learning and Curriculum Lead your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provide effective leadership and management on a specific site for a registered school, delivering a safe and secure education provision for students with complex needs and behaviours
• Be the key driver in behaviour management and student support for complex and vulnerable students
• Manage the educational environment, which supports and motivates students with complex needs, whilst they undertake a high quality and aspirational curriculum
• Drive performance and outcomes in engagement, curriculum, quality of teaching, safety, achievement and progression
• Work with the Head Teacher to ensure that the school’s overall effectiveness is judged by OFSTED as consistently good or outstanding
