CTC Cleared IT Service Operations Manager

We are urgently seeking an experienced and skilled IT Service Operations Manager with current CTC Security Clearance to be responsible for protecting and operating the live service platform using ITIL governing principles such as, but not limited to incident, problem, change and release for one of our blue lights clients based in London SW1A.

The IT Service Operations Manager will be responsible for drafting, managing and issuing timely communication to the customers and internal stakeholders around change and release activity and/or high priority incident/problem tickets. They will review and improve current ITIL processes around change and incident management.

They will be accountable for the development of a forward schedule of change & release calendar; manage post incident review actions, capture these within a tracker and manage any customer queries on change/release and incident/problem activity.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge of IT service management/operations in an SAAS environment
  • Knowledge and experience in managing in-life service operations of critical national services
  • Previous governance and process experience around the ITL functions of incident, problem, change and release management
  • Transition management, experience in onboarding new customer, services or technology changes and taking them into live operations ensuring the live service is protected
  • To have demonstrable experience of risk and issue management and mitigation
  • Proven track record of being able to effectively manage all stakeholders, from 3rd party suppliers, internal support groups, internal leaders and customers

Office location is in London Victoria, a blend of 2/3 days in the office and balanced with Working From Home.
