CS1562 - Child Protection Co-ordinator
We are looking for a confident and motivated qualified Social Worker with significant experience and knowledge of Child Protection and the Local Authority’s statutory duties.
Key responsibilities of the post include a quality assurance role across the service and partner agencies in relation to Child Protection referrals, investigations and plans.
You will chair Child Protection Case Conferences and ensure the voice of the child/ young person is heard.
You will be a member of the Children and Families Management Group, report to the Child Protection Committee and represent the Service at multi agency meetings.
An ability to manage and analyse data is essential and a post qualification in child care is desirable.
You must have the ability to be mobile across the Council area.
This post is temporary until March 2019 to cover maternity leave.
If you are the successful candidate for this post, you will be working with children and/or vulnerable adults and therefore you must have PVG membership.
