Crowdfunding Campaign Manager (voluntary)
Exciting opportunity for a highly passionate individual with a strong marketing skill set and crowd funding experience to get involved (on a voluntary basis) with a newly established charity, Conservation without Borders as they embark on a conservation media event and Guinness World Record attempt tackling climate change.
They are passionate about using bold adventures and innovative story-telling techniques to bring scientists and conservationists together into powerful, focused collaborations, and get mass media, public, political and industry engagement in critical conservation issues. Their 2016 expedition 'The Flight of the Swans’ followed the migration of Bewick’s swans from Artic Russia to the UK.
This is initially a 4 - 5 month project (home-based) working with an all-volunteer team requiring a commitment of c.10 hours per week. Job share is also a possibility.
The focus of this voluntary Crowdfunding Campaign Manager role is to help create an engaging visual brand for this important cause, as such you will play a critical part in an important and ground-breaking conservation project and be part of a highly motivated team with a challenging mission. In turn this will result in invitations to team meetings and expedition fundraising and profile raising events during 2020 / 2021.
Duties to include:
Taking control of the project from start to finish
Choosing the right platform
Helping to define targets
Messaging and communications
Creating promotional assets
Planning, promoting, and managing the campaign
Some in-house creative / video support is already in place to help support this project.
It is essential that you are confident in assessing, and using, the different available platforms as well as copy writing and creating / helping to create promotional assets and coming up with a plan to promote the campaign.
