CRM Developer at Nuffield Health

Nuffield Health is Britain's largest not for profit healthcare business and we are currently seeking a CRM Developer. We deliver services from more than 300 locations including hospitals, health and fitness clubs, health assessment centres and client workplaces. To meet the organization's business growth agenda, we are undergoing a multi-year, cross-divisional transformation change programme that will be underpinned and enabled by technology. This role would be suitable for someone who has experience and knowledge in this CRM development using Agile delivery techniques, working as part of a team, delivering business critical projects to time and budget.

  • Be accountable for ensuring high quality code is delivered and operated in line with product goals and delivery cycles using Agile methods
  • Be responsible for working collaboratively as part of a multi-functional team, focused on one or more Agile projects
  • Be responsible for operating within a community of developers and architects, adding value to the whole through innovation and collaborative development of technical standards
  • Be responsible for building custom declarative and programmatic applications on the platform
  • Be responsible for supporting applications built and maintained within the CRM team


  • Experience developing with modern web development languages, e.g. Java/J2EE, NodeJS, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Python and/or other cloud technologies
  • Suitable degree in a technical, engineering or mathematical discipline or equivalent vocational qualification(s)
  • Experience working in a highly iterative environment in a multi-functional team, collaborating closely with colleagues to meet business and customer needs
  • Proven ability to research and learn new programming tools and techniques quickly
  • Experience of using a systematic approach to solving problems
  • Experience of using testing to validate solutions
  • Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Highly skilled & experienced in one of either Development or Web-Ops (see below), awareness of the other area


  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Marketing Cloud certifications
  • Computing degree, systems analysis qualification
  • Experience working for a healthcare company in a development role
  • Marketing Cloud configuration/development experience
  • Lightning Experience configuration/development experience
  • Experience of CI/CD environments and tools, including TDD, and DevOps
  • Operating and/or building a Platform as a Service (PaaS)
  • Working with Open Source projects and tools
  • Using containers, distributed schedulers, and minimalist operating systems

Location: Our Epsom Support Centre is just 30 minutes away from London, and located within walking distance of Epsom train station
