Support Worker needed in Bristol to provide support within domestic violence
Your new company
You will be joining a local supported housing provider who provides support to vulnerable service users. This organisation promotes independence and focuses on improving service users lives.
Your new role
As a support worker you will be working on a full time (37 hours) temporary basis. As a support worker you will be providing support plans to service users who have been through domestic violence supporting them to move on and promote independence. You will be carrying out a floating support service across the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area, carrying out support plans, tenancy advice and housing management support. As a support worker you will respond to emergency and crisis situations by providing support, advice, signposting or direct interventions as necessary. As a support worker you will champion service user empowerment, encouraging the services on offer are accessible and relevant.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful support worker you must have working knowledge in supported housing and have working experience in domestic violence support. To be a successful support worker you must have strong knowledge in support plans, be able to communicate with different backgrounds and be passionate about helping people. You must have access to a car and have a clean driving license.
