A key leadership role opportunity has arisen within the WestGwent Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CR/HTT). The post holder will work as a leader and senior clinician within a dynamic and fast paced Crisis Resolution/Home Treatment service.
The successful candidate will lead the team to ensure there is a timely and proportionate response to acute mental health need and crisis within the West Gwent (Caerphilly County)catchment areas. A creative approach should be used in enabling the CR/HTT to provide opportunities to facilitate patients for early discharge from wards.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished practitioner, have experience leading people and driving forward person centred care. They will have values that reflect a compassionate and open minded professional. They will have the confidence and ability to provide pragmatic and evidence based alternatives to hospitalisation.
Applicants will need relevant experience of working in Community or Acute Mental Health Teams and will be comfortable with working with a complex and at times high risk client group. This should ensure the safety of service users and team members alike.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post though not essential; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
