JOB TITLE: Criminal Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2-6 years PQE
LOCATION: Dorset (Commutable from Bournemouth, Lymington, Swanage, Poole and Southampton)
Our client is looking to continue the growth of it's criminal practice and to increase its presence within the local area, and as such, they are seeking to add an additional Criminal Solicitor to the team. The team are well established and are consistently busy. The role will offer a varied workload and the team is currently assisting clients in all areas of crime, from minor offences to serious crimes, including murder and sexual offences. There is a considerable amount of out of hour rota requirements, as is typical of a role of this type.
The ideal Criminal Solicitor should have at least two years of experience working in a criminal department, and it is essential that they are duty qualified, and prepared to, at times, to carry out work out of hours. The Solicitor should have had solid experience of legal aid work and of representing clients at the police station. The Solicitor should be able to handle a heavy and complex workload and work independently as required.
