Accredited Criminal Solicitor sought for a dynamic firm in Chatham, Kent.

With a high rate of staff retention, opportunities at this practice are highly prized. They now seek a PASR or Duty Accredited Criminal Solicitor on a full or part-time basis.

The Role
We are actively seeking a Criminal Solicitor for our client’s progressive department in Chatham, Kent. Working alongside experienced fee earners, the role is suited to qualified /Duty Solicitors who are Police Station Accredited or have Duty Solicitor status. Candidates will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience handling a broad range of Criminal law matters. Undertaking an array of duties, your caseload will be diverse and interesting including: representing clients at the police station, serious offences; preparing Court cases, drafting briefs and instructions to Counsel; liaising with the CPS and Courts and; conducting advocacy. Applicants must be Crime Duty or Police Station Accredited with the role being offered on a full time, permanent basis.

The Candidate
Applications are encouraged from qualified Solicitors who are Police Station Accredited Representatives or have Crime Duty status
Have a solid background in Criminal law matters, ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within this sector.
Be able to handle a diverse caseload to meet deadlines, with minimum supervision.
Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills.
