Key Responsibilities of the Criminal Barrister:

• Manage and oversee criminal defence cases, ensuring quality representation and client satisfaction
• Lead and supervise team members, providing support and fostering a positive work environment
• Contribute to business development by expanding client relationships and the firm’s presence
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards within the team
• Play a role in strategic decisions alongside Directors, driving growth and efficiency within the firm

Candidate Requirements for the Criminal Barrister role:

• Experienced Criminal Barrister with a track record of managing independent caseloads
• Strong business acumen, familiarity with modern technology, and creative approaches to client relations
• Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for mentoring and developing team members
• Commitment to the Criminal Justice System and a positive outlook for the future of Criminal Law
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with resilience in high-pressure situations
