The Credit team administrator is an essential position which ensures that the day to day operations of the team run smoothly. The role will primarily focus on operational support to the team, whilst lending itself to opportunities for progression within credit risk. The SME Credit Risk team are responsible for underwriting the credit risk of Small to Medium Enterprises who apply to use our payment services, whilst also monitoring our existing portfolio of merchants. Our objective is to support our customer growth through risk based decision making ensuring that the risk of loss to Worldpay is minimised.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
You will be a responsible for supporting the Credit Analysts in their daily credit reviews and administrative tasks. Working closely with the team you will support with drafting documentation and written correspondence to merchants; collating statistics to support the production of reports and updated and maintained our credit systems and databases. You'll be liaising our sales team and also business customers via telephone or email to requested information to make a credit decision on new business. You will managing the team inbox; ensuring that files are assigned to the correct analyst for review and addressing queries, both from internal and external sources in a timely manner.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has previous experience in a customer facing role looking to make their first step into Credit Risk. You will have gained some customer service experience and have the confidence and assurance to be able manage difficult conversations with customers and be able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally. We are looking for someone with a high standard of both written and verbal communication and good attention to detail. Technically, you must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
You will be a determined individual, not easily put off by setbacks with the ability to work under pressure to tight timescales whilst maintaining a high standard of work,
You must be able to demonstrate a supportive attitude and a willingness to assist fellow team members in their day to day responsibilities.
