We are looking for a Credit Risk Data and Analytics consultant to work as part of the wider npower Home and Business division who look after consumer accounts and around 160,000 small to medium size businesses.
Working within the small yet dynamic Credit Risk team you will act as a subject matter expert for portfolio tracking, campaign production and analytics. This includes ensuring current and future requirements are assessed, specified and any changes are implemented. It requires interrogation of varied data sources and development of complex coding in order to reduce debt balances and/or meet compliance and regulatory standards.
Skills and Experience
You will be proficient in the use of specialist data mining software to develop complex processes and provide accurate data to be used within Credit Risk. It’s important that you have extensive experience in SAS programming. Experience with SQL (Structured Query Language) and Unix would also be useful.
You will have a maths degree or equivalent professional qualification including high statistical component. You should have experience in MI report development and production and project governance.
We are looking for someone with strong analytical ability, who knows when complex statistical techniques would add real value and when a simple table provides real insight.

£36,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience
