Credit Risk Coordinator

We are now looking for a meticulous and hardworking candidate for a newly registered opportunity for a Credit Risk Co-ordinator; this is a Permanent full-time opportunity. As a Credit Risk Co-ordinator you will work within the Credit Risk Department to ultimately provide a strong and reliable administration support to the Credit Risk Department whilst implementing risk controls and procedures. This is a perfect opportunity to develop a career in Credit Risk Management.

Salary: £17,000 - £20,000
Hours:35 hours per week (09:00 - 17:00), Monday - Friday
Benefits: 25 days holiday on commencement (pro rata for the current holiday year)

Main responsibilities/accountabilities:
* Maintain and update existing accounts and records
* Provide administration support to Credit Risk Manager
* Liaising and meeting customers and clients as and when required
* Liaising with internal credit services and Third parties
* Have knowledge and experience of the Account Maintenance processes and procedures
* Review and authorise new account applications
* Review and manage incoming emails received into our generic email account
* Input, review and maintain customer records/accounts
* Review and reopen dormant accounts as required
* To develop own role within department and be active in improving working procedures and quality initiatives
* Ensure Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental standards and all related company policies are adhered to, raising any issues to the relevant parties as appropriate
* Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or what you fail to do
* Any other duties as may be reasonably requested in line with the job role

Candidate Specification:
* Have basic knowledge and experience of the account maintenance processes and procedures
* Have a basic understanding of Credit Risk and what this entails
* Interested in working in credit control
* The ability to work as a team player and be able to work independently
* Strong analytical and organisation skills coupled with attention to detail
* Experience of working in a customer focused environment possessing a professional telephone manner and good written skills
* Have a good working knowledge of MS Excel
* Strong analytical and organisational skills
* Strong communicator both written and verbal
* Organised and efficient
* Ability to adapt to changes in the team
* Able to work to own initiative
* Treats all matters with strictest of confidence
* Keen to develop personally and professionally
* Full, clean driving license
