Credit Risk Analyst / Qualified Accountant - Leeds - £40,000 - £50,000  

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a growing Leeds based business who are looking to identify a high calibre Credit Risk Analyst / Qualified Accountant to join their Finance Team, with a clear path of career progression for the right candidate. The role is extremely flexible with part-time options available (3 or 4 days) as well as considerable work from home.

Role:

The Credit Risk Analyst / Qualified Accountant position is a newly created and pivotal role within the Finance Team, created due to company growth.

Duties will include;

  • Collation, preparation, distribution and maintenance of the Credit Committee pack
  • Financial control within the central control document to ensure its integrity and accuracy
  • Preparation of credit review for low risk funded customers, for non-funded customers and for critical suppliers
  • Implementation and monitoring of the existing / new customer base
  • Involvement in the development of new central systems designed to improve and automate certain credit risk responsibilities
  • Manage the relationship with credit ratings providers
  • Maintaining credit limits in the central systems as and when required
  • Designing, running and monitoring reports are run to identify customers approaching limits in order that prompt act ion is taken
  • Act as an ambassador for the wider Finance function

Person:

The Credit Risk Analyst / Qualified Accountant role will suit:

  • Qualified Accountant  (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Motivated and forward thinking, with a proactive and analytical approach 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and partner with senior management and non-finance staff
