This credit controller role is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own large ledger, this position is business to business and you will have some high profile clients. Working in an accountancy type function, this position will give you a role that offers total autonomy while still being part of a team of 6.

Client Details

This manufacturing business has sites across the whole of the UK with their finance head office being based out of Warrington. Having been established for 40 years it has required innovative methods and fresh ideas to continually stay ahead of their competitors, but most importantly investment in their employees has resulted in loyalty.


This credit controller position will require;

  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, e-mail and letter within agreed timescales.
  • Identify queries on the accounts and liaise with internal departments and the customer to resolve efficiently.

  • Set, monitor and maintain the credit limit for customer's accounts.

  • Open new accounts.

  • Reconcile customer's accounts on a monthly basis.

  • Produce reports for colleagues and Manager on a regular basis.


The successful credit controller candidate will require the following skills;

  • Experience within credit control role
  • Excellent systems skills
  • Excellent customer service and key account handling ability
  • Able to confidently discuss overdue payments
  • Comfortable working towards set KPIs
