Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Credit Administrator to join a leading property and leisure group based near Solihull on an initial 6 / 12 month contract.

The Role

As the Credit controller your duties will be to provide excellent customer services while chasing outstanding debt, and dealing with rejected direct debits securing repayments. The Credit Administrator will assist Credit Controllers with all administration tasks which will include the adjustment of weekly rent amounts, allocation of cash, reviewing accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Securing repayment of outstanding fees
- Regularly review accounts credit limits and allocate cash 
- Promote the use of the direct debit method of payment and processing of other payment methods. E.g. debit cards 
- Ensure the system records are accurate and up to date
- Review of direct debit previews to compile accurate direct debit collection amounts and amend when necessary
- Assist in call handling to reduce the volume of both incoming and outgoing calls
- Assist the Credit Controller in production of key reports

Person specification

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate tenacity and a high level of service and communication.  Requirements include;

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Basic Excel, Word, Power Point and CRM are advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of Navision preferred
- This role may suit someone who has previously worked in a tele sales/administration role
