Reed Accountancy are delighted to offer this excellent opportunity for the position of Credit Controller for our client based in Halstead. You will be working with a team of three within a busy, high volume environment. This job requires good organisational skills and a need to prioritise tasks.

Duties will include;

• Ensuring that Group credit management policies are applied to customer accounts who require chasing for payment
• Contacting operational colleagues to resolve problem accounts
• Using the Companies various computer systems
• Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
• Ensuring timely payment of debts
• Negotiating re-payment plans
• Responding to relevant client enquiries
• Processing and reconciliation of invoices
• Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
• Preparation of statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required
• Managing sales ledger
• Providing administrative support to the team
