Reed are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading and highly reputable private sector organisation based in Edinburgh - Midlothian. They are looking for an experienced and confident Credit Controller to join their established team on a 7 week (ongoing) part time temporary basis. You must be able to work in the mornings from Monday – Friday.
On a daily basis your key roles and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
> Providing a full credit control service
> Collecting outstanding debts
> Preparing and distributing debtor statements, warning letters etc.
> Resolving any unallocated cash queries
> Dealing with returned payments
> Assisting with posting of cash book receipts to ledger
> Carrying out credit checks on new customers
> Resolving and dealing with all customer queries
> Working closely with all departments within the business
> Ensuring all data is captured, entered and maintained on the system accurately
> Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required
Essential skills and experiences:
> Sound working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
> Experience of using accounting platforms e.g. Sage, Oracle etc.
> Strong sense of customer service
> Strong oral and written communication skills
> Demonstrate the ability to prioritise
> Be a team player
> Demonstrate initiative and strong organisational skills
> Can do, will do attitude
