Credit Controller - Knowsley, Liverpool - To £23,000 plus benefits

An well known established specialist distribution business whose head office are based in Knowsley. Operating for over 30 years they have grown considerably both in size and reputation.
Your new role
As part of the Credit Control team you will be required to minimise the Company's risk having granted credit facilities and obtain payments when due. You will deal with internal staff and customers to resolve queries swiftly and professionally ensuring that debtor days are reduced and kept to a satisfactory level. Responsibilities will also include daily banking and allocating cash to the sales ledger, opening cash sale accounts for customers who do not have credit facilities and chasing overdue payments via telephone and letters. You will produce monthly statements and arrange and attend meetings with the customer regarding overdue payments when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require previous experience in a Credit Control role, ideally including customer facing involvement. You will have excellent communication skills and organisational skills, being able to work well with initiative under pressure.
