We are working with an established family run business based in Preston who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a small team. You will be responsible for a regional ledger with full autonomy for credit assessing new clients, and ensuring that accounts are maintained within agreed limits.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Performing credit checks, liaising with customers on a daily basis
- Working to ensure that debtor day levels are maintained by building up a strong relationships with customers
- Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts monthly
- Cash allocation
- Provide ad hoc reporting to the finance team to ensure visibility of debtor ledger and outstanding queries
To be considered for this opportunity you will have experience in building up a strong rapport with customers and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a Credit Controller who is professional both verbal and face to face ideally with B2B experience in a similar role.
