Hays Credit Management is excited to be representing a fantastic manufacturing business which is experiencing rapid expansion across their offices. Our client is looking to hire a tough, hardworking credit controller in order to assist with the increased workload.
Your new role
Working within a small finance team you will take responsibility of the company's ledgers consisting of approximately 300 live accounts. You will be responsible for setting up new accounts, performing credit checks, dealing with payments, resolving queries and reconciling accounts. You will also chase the company's debtors ensuring that cash is collected and allocated in a timely manner and will produce weekly and monthly reports for senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working in a fast-paced credit control environment using Sage 50. You will be an effective communicator with an ability to liaise confidently between different internal departments and with employees of all levels. You will be an organised individual that displays excellent time management skills as well as the ability to prioritise effectively in order to meet tight deadlines.
