Credit Controller (Part- Time)

Our Client, a successful business head quartered in Elgin, is looking for a person with proven experience within a finance environment to join their Credit Control team.

The remit for this position will be to ensure accounts are paid promptly and in line with terms and conditions.

Preference will be given to an applicant who has excellent communication skills both written and verbally, an ability to work effectively under pressure to a high standard, together with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Main Responsibilities:-

Account Management
Manage and resolve account queries in a professional manner.
Liaise with credit insurers and ensure their terms and conditions are met
Setting up new accounts; undertake credit checks and setting suitable credit limits.
Ensure all customers have appropriate credit limits and these are adhered to.
Manage debtor accounts and chase monies.
Direct Debit Bacs payment uplifts, ensuring payments are uplifted timeously and allocated appropriately
Producing monthly statements
Drive process Improvement within the department
Ensure customer account details are up to date and correct

Abilities required:-

Excellent communication and influencing skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure to a high standard within a team
High level of attention to detail and accuracy

The successful Credit Controller will work part time hours which may be flexible for the right candidate.

The Credit Controller will initially work on a temporary basis however providing standards are met, there is the opportunity for this position to become permanent.
