6-8 month contract with chance of permanency
A fast paced and growing group of companies with operating divisions across Europe.
You’ll be a key player in a tight knit team, specifically focused on the collection of outstanding debt from customers to maximise cash in the bank and help the business to trade smoothly without having to raise expensive capital elsewhere. You will spend most of your time focusing on a group of customers where annual sales amount to £12m with individual values from £300 per month, up to £30,000 per week.
This role is not about just bashing the phone, but will call upon your investigative skills, problem solving and communication to identify reasons for non-payment, and then work with colleagues and the customer to clear the issues and get the cash in the bank as soon as possible.
A reasonable level of Excel skills will be useful to analyse and present information to underpin your work in collecting debt.
You will need to ask for the support of overseas colleagues with European language skills in order to collect monies from customers overseas from time to time.
We’d like you to start ASAP, but certainly by the end of February at the latest.
We are looking for a problem solver, detective and responsible team player with a strong work ethic, self-motivation and who is interested in making a difference within this busy team. Experience in credit control or customer liaison role is essential.
