Credit Controller

Fantastic opportunity for a Temporary Credit Controller to join a growing organisation based in North Lanarkshire. This post offers the opportunity for a permanent role.

The main duties:

  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
  • Assign invoices, payments and receipts both on bank and company systems
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
  • Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between amounts received and amounts due within agreed timescales
  • Open new client accounts
  • Run Experian reports to assess credit risk for new clients

The main requirements:

  • Previous end to end credit control experience is essential
  • Extremely customer focused
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised, focused and have the ability to prioritise
  • Ability to influence clients
