Credit Controller - Milton Keynes

Our rapidly growing client is a global leader in technology, based in Milton Keynes, they are now looking to expand their Accounts department.

As Credit Controller you will be confident and highly driven with excellent communication skills, experienced in a similar type position with profound knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint and the capability to work unsupervised.

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Accounts Assistant, the desired candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Closely monitoring outstanding debt, manage Credit Control, Cash Collection
  • Following up with customers on overdue invoices via phone & email on a daily basis
  • Emailing statements bi-monthly & reminder letters weekly to customers
  • Taking advance payment from customers
  • Liaising with Solicitor and/or Debt Collection Agency in resolving payment issues
  • Booking receipts on to the system on a daily basis
  • Communicate to Colleagues any business critical issue
  • Assisting & providing cover for the Accounts Assistant
  • Ad-hoc projects as required
