Due to continued growth, and the resulting increase in information and analysis requirements, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Credit Controller to join the team in Leeds.
As this role is working within a busy credit control department candidates should demonstrate an ability to work in a high output environment and work well under pressure. We are looking for an individual who is confident, enthusiastic and has a willingness to learn as well as listen and share experiences and knowledge.
The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate an ability to adapt to the varying demands of working within a key area in a fast-growing business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor Credit Control Inbox and distribute accordingly
- Authorise or decline credit note requests from operations
- Phone customers on overdue invoices, send copy invoices, statements and reminder letters as necessary
- Deal with internal stakeholders on customer raised queries and pursue queries through to conclusion
Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
- Previous credit control experience essential
- High IT literacy proficient in MS Office particularly Excel
- Self-motivated, confident and a team player
- The ability to work under pressure
- An ambition to learn
- Good problem solving skills
