Credit Controller - Norwich - Competitive Salary

At Select Norwich, we are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller on behalf of our client, based in Norwich City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to start a career within a dynamic and progressive company, who are passionate about rewarding hard work.

The Role:

  • Arrange settlements and collect charges from tenants
  • Chase tenants for rent prior to due dates, primarily via telephone but also via email and post as required
  • Identify and evaluate reasons for problems with payment (i.e. short payment and non payment)
  • Preparation of reports
  • Meet and exceed KPIs, ensuring a high level of collections
  • Build relationships to ensure timely collections
  • Update contact information for tenants
  • Direct enforcement agents/solicitors as required
  • Any other duties as required

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience in basic accounting
  • Minimum GCSE Level Education (must include English and Maths)
  • Confident using Excel (use of pivot table, V Lookup level preferable)

Personal Characteristics:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to use initiative and work well under pressure
  • Organised
