Our client is based in Hastings and due to their continual growth, we are delighted to be recruiting for a credit controller/finance assistant to join their team. This role can lead to a permanent placement for the right candidate. The working hours can be changed to full-time or part-time if needed.

This role would be ideal for somebody taking or looking to take an AAT qualification. Good knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel would be preferable but not essential. Consideration would also be given to anyone having experience or wanting to move in to a finance role at various levels

Main Duties

  • Bank reconciliations, income and payment receipt allocations.
  • Nominal / general ledger postings and analysis.
  • Expense analysis.
  • Providing cover in other areas of the department as necessary.
  • Depending on the individuals experience there is the opportunity for this role to be expanded further in to other finance duties.

Qualification’s Skills and Experience

  • Experience dealing with bank reconciliations.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Knowledge of Concur would be preferable but not essential.
  • QuickBooks experience preferred.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Part time: Mornings 8am - 12pm or Afternoons 1pm to 5 pm.
  • Full-time: 8am to 5pm.
  • Potentially combinations of both across a 5-day week.
  • This role can be full-time or part-time.
