Page Personnel are currently recruiting a permanent Credit Control Clerk on behalf of a National Professional Services business based in Chester. This is a temporary assignment.

Client Details

This award winning business is growing rapidly through a number of exciting acquisitions. They are market leaders in their field and a fantastic opportunity has come available for a Credit Control Clerk to join their successful accountancy team based in Chester


The role of the Credit Control Clerk will be:

  • Opening new customer accounts
  • Setting credit limits
  • Credit checking new accounts
  • Chasing overdue payments via telephone, letter and email
  • Resolving complex customer queries in a timely manner
  • Resolving customer queries
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
  • Assisting with month end reporting and other ad hoc duties when required.


The successful Credit Controller will have:

  • A background in Credit Control - Essential
  • Be immediately Available or available at short notice
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Good IT skills including pivot tables and v look ups on Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Offer

This role will offer the following:

  • £19,000 - £21,000
