Your new company
Your new company is a large, multi-site organisation based in the heart of Burnley. This is a dynamic and thriving business that are experiencing a surge of organic growth and because of this, they are now seeking a Credit Controller to join their business on a permanent basis.

Your new role
Your new role within credit control will involve you working within a stable and growing team who have full responsibilities for the collection of debt in relation to customer invoices. You key duties and responsibilities will include cash collections, credit approval and obtaining remittances. Alongside this you will continuously liaising with other internal and external departments to ensure a high level of customer service and a steady inflow of cash. Other parts of your role will involve query management, allocating payments and dealing with any credit limit issues, working closely with the assessment team. You will be managing high volumes of invoices and customer accounts and be expected to manage your time effectively whilst prioritising your workload. This is a full time role between Monday and Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you should be experienced in credit control or have a strong background in debt collection and / or query resolution. You should be confident in managing high volumes and be competent on Excel, demonstrating your knowledge of vlookups and pivot tables. It is ideal for you to have a tenacious and inquisitive character with a desire to progress within Credit. Previous experience of working in a high-pressured and fast paced environment would be beneficial, however, this company rewards their staff heavily for the work they put in.

What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be subject to a salary up to £20,000 per annum which will also include 23 days holidays excluding statutory alongside a number of benefits such as incentive days, onsite parking, death in service, pension and healthcare benefits. You will work in an excellent, stable and developing team who are exceeding expectations.
