Role Summary

We are constantly evolving hence there is a chance of career progression. The Credit Control Manager position is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the request of a credit policy, regular credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of elevating Cash Collections and minimising bad debt losses.

  • Manage a Team - including training, motivating and setting monthly/quarterly targets
  • Responsible for Credit Control Team Targets
  • Assist Credit Controllers to ensure they are actively performing their cash collections role
  • Provide on-going training to Credit Control Team
  • Implement new processes to improve debtor days
  • Ensure Credit Control Team effectively builds relationship with internal and external customers
  • Monitor existing procedures with a view to improve processes and cash flow into the business
  • Ability to deal with a broad range of credit control issues in a fast paced environment
  • Manage and monitor credit risk
  • Produce analysis and performances to Company Head of Finance
  • Oversee the debt recovery or litigation processes
  • Able to escalate unresolved disputes in order to ensure a quick turnaround to actively chase aged debt
  • Ability to recognise potential risks by identifying bad debt and escalate significant risk
  • Manage and oversee Top Customer Accounts
  • Arrange Monthly Disputed Debtors Review with Sales Director
  • Arrange Monthly Disputed Legal Debtors Review with In-house Legal Department
  • Maintain and administrate Credit Control Software tool (Credit Hound)

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Strong credit risk awareness
  • Sales, Purchase, Nominal and Credit Control Ledger experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Thrive in a busy office environment and always on hand to support team
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Essential - Results driven and leads by example

Desired Qualifications:

3+ years of credit and supervisor/management experience

Working Conditions:

Works in a fast-paced office environment. Expected to travel to business locations
