Credit Control Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join a family owned multi-site manufacturing business based in Norfolk. The business is expanding their finance team and looking to recruit a Credit Control Assistant. The experienced Credit Control Assistant will have strong Accounts & Purchase ledger experience and be confident on the telephone.

Key responsibilities:

• Setting up new customer credit accounts and credit checks.
• Recording notes on customer accounts.
• Raising credit note/debit note requests for customers.
• Comprehensive credit control support to the Credit Control Manager
• Making and receiving calls regarding overdue invoices
• Answering account queries from internal and external clients
• Allocations of customer receipts
• Setting up new customer credit accounts and credit checks.
• Dealing with any account queries or correspondence and ensure timely resolution.
• General administration
• Ad hoc tasks as required
• General administration

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

• AAT Qualified
• Self-motivated
• Strong excel skills
• Experience working in a family run business or small team
• Previous experience in a similar role, or someone with at least 2 years purchase ledger/accounts administration experience looking to advance to level.
