Credit Control Advisor

Our client is looking for a Credit Control Advisor to take a pro-active approach to all outstanding invoices for rent in their residential division, with the occasional work on their own rent product arrears and historic debts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Detailing and maintaining central records for payment plans and customer accounts
  • Advising colleagues and customers on the best routes to take to possession
  • Assisting with the allocation of payments received and taking a decisive approach to errors
  • Dealing with solicitors and insurance companies
  • Managing a pipeline of arrears
  • Limiting costs for both the company and our landlords
  • Submitting, filing and administrating insurance claims

You should be:

  • Flexible and dynamic - able to communicate with people at all levels
  • Able to display a can-do attitude at all times
  • Willing to help people at every opportunity, attached to a drive for a commercial result
  • Able to show a firm grasp of Excel, Outlook, diary packages and experience with bespoke customer service software
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbally
  • Organised and able to work to deadlines
