Our client, a thriving Cheltenham based business is looking to add to their small but growing team by recruiting a Credit Administrator to support the Credit Manager in what will be a mainly administrative and processing role.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the post holder will be responsible for general administration, keeping an eye on the incoming email, liaising with a panel of finance providers both via email and over the telephone, assisting in the preparation of applications, raising finance documentation and requesting a range of client information via the sales team. An ability to juggle a number of cases at different stages of processing is a must, as is the ability to ensure all enquiries are responded to professionally and in a timely manner.
You will be double checking figures, creating, checking, saving and sending documentation, ensuring terms and conditions have been signed and maintaining office processes and procedures, compliantly.
We are looking for a candidate with sound administrative capabilities who is numerate and has good written and spoken communication skills. Confidence in using computer systems is ideal, although training will be given on the use of all systems, including their bespoke, in-house CRM system. High attention to detail is essential as is a willingness to “get it right first time”.
Previous experience packaging finance applications would be beneficial but is not necessary and full support and on-the-job training will be provided on all aspects of the role with the eventual aim that you will be able to work autonomously when other team members are away.
There will be some requirement for the post holder to support the sales team with calls to clients on occasion, so a confident telephone manner is essential.
