CREATIVE DESIGNER

MAIDENHEAD

UP TO £35,000

We are currently recruiting fro a Creative Designer to join a growing Marketing function of a company based in Maidenhead.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver creative design requirements to support business needs, attracting and engaging the target audience whilst building brand awareness:
    • Materials will include, but not limited to, press adverts and advertorials, posters, banners, menus, signage, branded products
    • Interpret design briefs and determine requirements, seek copy as required
    • Schedule projects and manage workload/workflow of all creative outputs
    • Conceptualise visuals based on requirements using brand toolkit and adhering to guidelines
    • Present concepts and designs for stakeholder feedback
    • Develop and finalise designs ready for sign off - ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, on-brand and communicate the messages effectively
    • Ensure appropriate sizing of designs for specific marketing materials
  • For the right candidate the role could extend to include the provision of digital creative in addition to the above
  • Deliver high quality designs that are aesthetically appealing to target customers and reinforce the brand values consistently
  • Develop and evolve the companies creative output to deliver best-practice and best-in-class creative design, differentiating our business from its key competitors and achieving stand out in the market
  • Develop the companies Brand Guidelines and tool kit to enable the consistent presentation of the brand in a way that is consistent and aligned with the brand purpose and positioning
  • Ensure the safeguarding of the Brand Guidelines, ensuring all materials and creative output adheres to the guidelines both internally and externally with all third-party suppliers and partners
  • Write creative briefs for external partners as required to enable the delivery of consistent, on brand content such as videos, animations, digital banners, infographics, emails and brochures
  • Support the creative development of TV and radio adverts including visuals, scripts and voiceovers
  • Provide creative and guidance on Brand Guidelines/Toolkit to external partners
  • Seek and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing creative processes
  • Support the delivery of a content strategy to effectively communicate the companies propositions and brand

Experiences Desired

  • Qualification in relevant design subject
  • Experience of working in a creative design role for minimum 5 years
  • Strong portfolio of graphic design
  • Development and implementation of brand guidelines and toolkits
  • Digital design experience useful
  • B2C experience
  • Proven success designing and executing a broad variety of effective marketing materials
  • Hospitality, hotel, travel or tourism experience preferred
  • Design software and technologies (eg InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Supplier/external agency management experience
