NHS Grampian Nurseries play a crucial role in the recruitment and retention of
key healthcare staff. 

NHSG operates 2 workplace nurseries in Aberdeen
providing a total of 155 childcare places aged from 6 months to 5 years:  Little Acorns Day Nursery is based on-site of
Royal Cornhill Hospitals, Maybaird Avenue and Woodend Nursery is located on the
base of Woodend Hospital, Eday Road.

We are pleased to offer applicants the opportunity to join our NHS Grampian
Nurseries teams as one of our Bank Nursery Assistants. 

Successful applicants will work alongside members of the nursery team to
deliver a high standard of childcare within the nursery setting, in addition
contributing to the children’s development and our planning as part of the nursery
team. 

This post offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career in
childcare.

Applicants should have relevant experience of caring for children aged between
6 months - 5 years, ideally within a nursery setting, and an awareness of implementing
Building the Ambition, the Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to 3
Documentation, taking forward child centered planning (or similar) and being
involved in team working. 

Candidates must
be qualified to the level of SVQ Level 2 or NC qualification in childcare, as
per the SSSC guidance for a Support Worker.  

Flexibility between the working hours of 7.00
a.m.-6.00 p.m. are required with potential availability to work on a full-time
flexi basis.
