These are challenging roles in which the successful candidates will take responsibility for managing a caseload and ensuring the delivery of high quality nursing care. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to team working and ongoing professional development. Car driver/owner or access to a car essential.
Community experience is essential and candidates must possess a Specialist Practice District Nursing qualification, or expect to graduate as a District Nurse within the next 6 months. We are also keen to hear from those who have not been using their DN qualification recently and can provide full support for them to develop back into a DN role.
There is the possibility of taking on either full or part-time hours, this can be discussed further at interview.
