Person: International CPC essential. Experience of retail strongly desirable. Strong operational knowledge essential. Significant experience of managing multi-functional teams. Experience of Start-up operations. Experience of operating across multiple regions in the UK is an advantage.
Role: Commercial and operational responsibility for the wholesale site. To ensure that operational service levels are met and exceeded through the achievement of contractual KPI's and to manage and control all elements of the site to optimum cost and efficiency. Development of a highly talented team to maintain high levels of customer service. To be responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of all colleagues across the site. High levels of communication within the Wholesale team, and with the customer, as required.
o Be responsible for driving and developing an open team culture that supports KPI delivery on the site, to the benefit of the client, company and individual employees and meeting the needs of all colleagues through complete engagement.
o Ensure that employee resources at the site are appropriate for business needs, including tackling performance issues, identification of training needs, reviewing productivity and local recruitment.
o Lead the introduction of new operational technologies and other advances in operational processes.
o Ability to motivate, develop and communicate at all levels.
o Drive a culture of continuous improvement through regular review and challenge of process.
o Respond to major changes in operational demands arising from seasonal and other fluctuations.
o Ensure compliance with statutory and Company policies on Health & Safety, employment, Legislative and Environmental issues including regular monitoring to ensure that a high profile of all of these key areas is maintained.
o Proactive, engaging and positive drive and approach to the management of resources and issues.
o Enhance working relationships and communications at all levels, ensuring values are seen as an integral part of all management processes.
o Drive a cost efficient and service focused site through measuring and managing against key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Understands the clients strategic direction and deploys agreed actions to align client / contract strategy with key company deliverables.
o Proactively and professionally manage client relationship, delivering superior customer satisfaction at all times
o To support the Network General Manager and Account Director in delivering the joint strategic agenda
o To inspire team and create an engaging and positive culture
