Your new school is a large, two-form entry Primary School . This successful school at the heart of the community is looking for an experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join their team after the February half-term until the end of the academic year. They aim to provide a secure, respectful and cohesive environment to their pupils and staff and strive to build effective partnerships with their parents to help reach the best possible outcomes for their pupils
Your new role
As a Class Teacher within a long term opportunity you will be required to take on full teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessing and attending staff meetings, training and parents' evening. You should create a stimulating learning environment through utilising the resources available to you and gaining a good understanding of your class from an early stage of your time at the school.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role of KS2 Class Teacher it is essential that you have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and you have recent and relevant experience within a classroom setting, ideally with in depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum. They are looking for outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations and commitment to developing the full potential of all children.
