Supply teacher needed for a New Hays Partnership school RCT, Guarantee pay 5 days per week upto £110 per day.

Your new school
This school is a mixed 11 - 18 comprehensive school based in Rhondda Cynon Taff. The school has over 1600 and will soon be expanding to 1800 including over 360 in its popular sixth form. The school is one of the largest in RCT and is rated as Amber by the Welsh Government and rated as 'Good' by Estyn. This school draws from a large catchment area, and caters to a large sixth form.The school is currently undergoing a multimillion pound refurbishment and expansion which will be finished in late 2018.

Your new role
Starting in you will become a key part of the dedicated cover support network for the school. You will be responsible for covering a mixed timetable of classes, full time five days per week. The leadership team prioritise pupil well-being in everything. This is reflected throughout the staff at the school, who work effectively as a team to ensure pupils feel safe, secure and confident. The idea of an internal cover teacher is so that the teacher can built rapport, respect and have consistency with classes. Cover supervisors (Student teachers or non-qualified teachers are also eligible for this position)

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified teacher registered with the Education Workforce Council to be eligible for the teaching positions available. For the internal cover supervisor role you will not need to be a qualified teacher but will need experience in a school supervising classes that we can reference. You will have previous experience of teaching / covering classes within a secondary school. You will also possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills. You will share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check. The leadership team are looking for someone who is genuinely enthusiastic and passionate, to join their support network of supply teachers.

The school are looking for a small group of internal supply teachers which means you will have consistent work within one school and be able to build relationships with both students and teachers. You will be treated as a permanent member of staff within the school. You will receive between £95 - £110 per day for cover work and up to £140 per day for extra teaching responsibility if required by the school.
