Cover Supervisors Needed for Secondary School in Bridgend

Based in RCT, our Secondary School client is currently recruiting several strong Cover Supervisors to work in their busy and thriving school. You will be expected to deliver all aspects of the Key Stage 3 and 4 National Curriculum where Teachers have left work to complete for the lesson.

The main role of the Cover Supervisor is ensuring all pupils are on task by completing the work already set for them in the absence of the Class Teacher. You will be required to supervise, intervene where appropriate and advise pupils using excellent classroom management skills and be able to control the class. A good general knowledge of core subjects would be ideal but not always necessary.

Duties include:

* Providing lesson outline and deliver to all students confidently.

* Supports all pupils and reinforces concepts by helping students, individually and in groups, with lesson assignments.

* Maintains quality results by following and enforcing standards.

* Enhances school's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

* Follows all procedures and is knowledgeable of policies.
