Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a well-supported and dynamic secondary school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical classroom experience-ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or those passionate about education and working with young people.

• Supervising students during lessons in the absence of the class teacher

• Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged and on task

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and professionally

• Encouraging a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, term-time only

• Have experience working with young people in a school, tuition, or youth setting (preferred but not essential)

• Be confident, professional, and able to manage a classroom independently

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Be calm under pressure and able to adapt to a variety of classroom situations

• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
